Challenger Sports’ exclusive Liverpool FC International Academy Team Tour is designed for club teams with players aged between 10 – 17 who are passionate about improving all areas of their football development.
The Team Tour includes a minimum of 24-hours training by Liverpool FC International Academy coaches, perfect for taking your team-play to the next level. This exclusive program can be adapted to your needs and truly is an experience of a lifetime for clubs and teams from across the world
ENGLISH LANGUAGE
LEADERS PROGRAMME
The two week English Language Leader Award teaches young learners how to lead others through English language activities by working to develop their communication, organization and motivational skills.
The program encourages the young learners to build upon their current English Language skills and completely immerse themselves in the language and environment created by our experienced English Language teaching staff, giving each student the confidence to converse with other students and staff on and the off the pitch.
The English Language Leaders program covers topics such as; planning, preparing and delivering sports-related activity; communication and motivation; cultural understanding; leading teams and activities; vocabulary, listening, and speaking.
On completion of the camp, all young learners will gain a recognized award from Sports Leaders UK.

FOOTBALL PROGRAMME
classroom activity as well as two Thebasedweek I CAN LEAD program is a fun practical leadership course that combines field-based practical assessments, helping students to develop key leadership skills and increase academic performance.
The program has been specially designed as an introduction to leadership that will give young learners the knowledge and skills to assist in leading sports/activity sessions, whilst also giving knowledge and experience in a range of communication, leadership, speaking and financial skills.
This fun and practical program focuses on personal development and not just sporting ability and covers topics such as: developing personal leadership skills, an organisation for leading sport/activity sessions, health and fitness, fair play in sport and more.
On completion of the program our young learners will gain a recognized award from Sports Leaders UK.
FOOTBALL FOCUS
Our Football Focus camp delivers the ultimate football coaching experience for any hard-working, dedicated player.
Players on the Football Focus program can choose between a one week or two-week program and will gain a unique insight into how Liverpool FC train their young players at their renowned Liverpool FC Academy. The Liverpool Academy has produced players such as Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, and Raheem Sterling who have played over 1000 combined EPL games.
Players will take part in the same sessions as Liverpool FC players, covering topics such as passing and receiving, counter-attacking, playing out from the back, and also small-sided games all delivered by an excellent team of Liverpool FC coaches. Liverpool FC Workshops and analysis sessions provide further insight into the life of a Liverpool player.
Within the development curriculum model, we aim to progress each player in the technical, tactical, physical, mental and social aspects of football. The program is the perfect environment for younger players to develop and grow at their own pace and become more confident players.
TEAM TOURS
Players will be based in rural Lancashire at Myerscough College which offers high-quality accommodation and sporting facilities in a safe and secure environment. Team Tour players will be trained ‘The Liverpool Way’ with a minimum 4-days of training both as their own team but also with other players and teams from across the world.
Players from 34 different countries attended in 2017 so you are guaranteed one of the best social environments to develop both as a player and as a person.
In addition to a minimum of 24-hours professional training from Liverpool FC International Academy coaches, players will also visit Anfield (Liverpool’s world-famous stadium), take part in teambuilding activities, social events, player workshops and put their newly developed skills into practice with a match against a local English team.
