You are required to have passed a total of 5 independent general education subjects with the grade "credit", including 2 languages and 1 mathematical/natural science subject. You are required to have taken the Senior School Examination not more than two times. If you want to study a subject that is different from humanities, you are required to have passed a total of 5 independent general education subjects with the grade "credit", including 1 language and 1 mathematical/natural science subject.

Academic admission requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or equivalent degree (from a programme with a minimum duration of three years) in related fields to course of study.

Applicants are also required to provide proof of English language proficiency with a minimum of European level B2 and a minimum of one year of work experience in a related field.

Applications are welcome even if the required degree has not been awarded by the time of application as long as it will be conferred before courses start.

Language requirements

Applicants who are not native English speakers should prove English language proficiency at level B2 by acceptable results on an internationally recognised test (max. validity of two years): e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic, OOPT, TOEIC, Cambridge ESOL. Proven higher education in English or a reasonably long stay in an English-speaking country are also acceptable.

Additional information on tuition fees

International students Masters: 

900 EUR per month (for the first 16 months)
450 EUR per month (for the Master's thesis module)

Reduced for Argentinian and German students:

450 EUR per month
225 EUR per month

Reduced for students having graduated at UBA or UFR:

225 EUR per month
112.50 EUR per month

Undergraduate students

Affected are International students who are neither nationals of a member state of the European Union (EU), nor another contracted member state of the European Economic Area (EEA), this means from Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein, and who will take up a bachelor degree, consecutive master degree or state examination from winter semester 2017/2018. This does not apply to continuous education programs.

Fees for international students in the amount of 1,500 euros per semester are charged in accordance with § 3 Paragraph 1 LHGebG. In addition, the usual semester fees (currently 180 euros per semester) must be paid.

International students who began their studies before the 2017/2018 winter semester may complete them in the selected field of study and degree program without being required to pay tuition. If one is enrolled into two subjects (e.g. a Bachelor of Arts with a major and a minor), one is permitted to change one subject once without paying the fee.
