English Requirement
To study with most schools, students need a good standard of English. Many universities accept a KCSE grade C as an alternative to IELTS. Applicants must provide evidence of their KCSE grade during the application process. Note that specific courses might demand higher English grades or additional subject qualifications. Students with a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with grades C and above may apply for a foundation year (level 0 of a bachelor's degree). Some schools may accept a B Grade for direct year 1.

Postgraduate
Postgraduate students must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum grade of 2.2 (Second Class Lower Division). Though some courses will require that students provide a minimum of a 2.1 (Second Class Upper Division)
