The Latest From The University of Salford

Applications Update

Applications for all of our undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses within our School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology and School of Health and Society starting in September 2024 are open.

Applications for postgraduate courses in Salford Business School and our School of Science, Engineering and Environment will reopen soon on 22 January.

Some of our courses are very popular so we recommend that students who would like to study with us submit their application as soon as possible.

Please keep checking our intakes webpage for the most up-to-date information on our intakes and which courses have spaces remaining.

Creative Courses Online Event

Hear all about our creative courses during our online event on 23 January at 12:00 pm (GMT).

During the event, our international creative students will talk about their experiences studying at Salford. They will also discuss the projects and placements available, our facilities, and our exciting location. There will also be time for questions.

Please encourage any of your students considering a creative course to attend. They can sign up for the event via the link below.

MA Nursing

Our MA Nursing is a two-year programme accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. It is a fast-track way for students who already have a 2:1 degree to become a nurse.

To be eligible for the programme, students will also need to show they have 800 hours of experience in a relevant field. There are three different pathways available: adult, children and young people and mental health.

Check out the video below to discover more about the programme and how it can help you reach your dreams of becoming a nurse in the UK.

International Parents' Guide to Undergraduate Study

We have created a guide for the parents and carers of our undergraduate applicants and offer holders to explain more about our University. It is full of information about applying to study with us, the offer-making process and what they need to do once they have accepted our offer for a bachelor's course.

Please share this resource with your undergraduate students and their parents and carers. We will be sharing a guide for the parents of our postgraduate taught students soon.
